Making people feel happier, calmer and seeing them living out their best life is something that makes me feel incredibly satisfied and proud. The power of human touch has unbelievable healing capabilities for our bodies and this is just one of the reasons that has drawn me into being a massage therapist.
I originally graduated in 2004 from UniSA with a Bachelor of Education as a Primary School teacher. Helping people has always been my passion. However after around 15 years of teaching, I decided to change paths. I completed my Diploma at the Australian Institute of Fitness to become qualified in Remedial Massage Therapy. I love learning new skills to help my clients. I am also qualified in functional cupping and will soon complete my dry needling certificate.
Joining the team at PhysioWest feels like home. I thrive on being in an environment surrounded by like minded practitioners with common goals; to help, nurture and inspire healthy & happy clients!
Outside of the clinic, life is always hectic but fun, racing around playing taxi-mum for my 3 children! It’s a joy watching them excel at their sports and activities and naturally, they love getting a massage from mum.
I love a weekend hike up Chambers Gully or even a long beach walk with my husband, followed by a cheeky g&t! In my spare time I also love experimenting in the kitchen, homemade pasta and tiramisu inspired by my Italian heritage is always a crowd pleaser.
My mantra is “To spread the power of optimism, positive energy and laughter through my words and actions.”
I look forward to seeing you in the clinic so I can use my massage skills to help you promote a better physical, emotional and mental well-being.
