We strive for excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injury and movement dysfunction. All our clinicians are educated and trained in some of the country’s best universities. At PhysioWest you will receive personalized treatments in your own private room in our modern facility. We work closely with your Doctor, personal trainer, team coach or employer to help you through your injury and return to your best as soon as possible. More importantly we listen to your needs and goals and we care to help you.
No. In Australia, Physiotherapists are Primary Care Clinicians qualified and skilled in the management of musculoskeletal injury, dysfunction or derangement. You do not need a referral to see a Physiotherapist. However, your Physiotherapist will normally ask about who your Doctor is so that your Doctor is informed about your condition and progress. Your Doctor will also help identify any crucial information that can assist the Physiotherapist plan your treatment course. If your problem is related to WorkCover, DVA, EPC or CTP, you will require a GP referral and appropriate proof of liability.
A referral is not necessary unless you are claiming your treatment through a compensable body (DVA, WorkCover, EPC or CTP). If you have any queries regarding claiming your treatment, please contact our Client Services Team on 08 8352 3582
Both clinics have access to ample parking at the rear of the buildings. Occasionally, this gets a little busy and the nearby side streets provide us with a great option for clients. Our clinics also have designated disability parking for clients which you are welcome to park in.

As part of our assessment and treatment we will ask you some questions about your medical history to understand your story. If you have a referral or previous imaging and reports or anything else that you think might help your therapist please bring these along.
As part of our assessment and treatment, we often need to see the body area in question. Loose fitting clothing that is easy to move in is a great idea.
