Hi there,

I am passionate about helping you achieve your goals whether it be managing an injury, returning to sport/fitness or improving or maintaining your general health and wellbeing. I was drawn to PhysioWest as I discovered just how engaging, exciting, caring and supportive the team is.

I am originally from a farm on the Eyre Peninsula, moved to the Barossa Valley with my family when I started high school and then moved out of home to the big smoke to study. I love the strong community feeling in South Australia and I can’t go far without finding someone who knows someone from the places I’ve lived and visited- so please if you have a connection to the EP or Barossa, I’d love to hear it!

I have an older sister who is a nurse/student midwife and a younger brother due to become a PE teacher, so apart from my dad (who is a farmer) I come from quite a health-orientated family.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia after completing the first year of Human Movement also at UniSA. Perhaps unlike many physios, my interest in physiotherapy didn’t stem from having injuries growing up (which is fortunate considering I’ve played plenty of sport!), instead it grew from having a physio in my own household- my mum!

I enjoyed learning about the human body and injury management from her, which eventually sparked my interest in all things physio! I was excited to join the healthcare world post-uni after working as an allied health receptionist and a sports trainer while studying.

Outside of work you’ll find me on the netball court or touch footy field, enjoying a nice glass of wine, searching through op shops to give a piece of clothing or furniture a new life or listening to/playing music (I’m currently on the hunt for my own piano so I can put those lessons I had as a kid to good use!).

One of my favourite quotes comes from Maya Angelou: “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” It reminds me that while we won’t ever know everything in the world, with each new piece of knowledge we gain, we can apply it and reap the rewards!

Book your appointment below – I’d love to work with you.
