Hi there,

I spent 9 months working in a residential aged care facility in Adelaide after completing my Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Hons). I am looking forward to making a positive impact with the team at PhysioWest.

My journey began in the ‘frosty’ United Kingdom where I grew up idolising some of the world’s best soccer players (I should say footballers but we all know the debate that would start). So from day one I was interested in sport and how the human body can be pushed to its limits. Since living in Australia from 2010, I’ve grown to love various sports including the AFL, basketball and a casual round of golf every now and then.

Since leaving high school I realised my passion is with helping others to live healthier lives. The generally novel Exercise Physiology course at UniSA seemed like a suitable challenge and a rewarding pathway for me. Since then, I haven’t looked back.

When working with clients, I like to place emphasis on restoring function, reaching goals and improving quality of life (and don’t forget – let’s make this fun!). These personal endeavours are shared within the team at PhysioWest, along with the want to improve ourselves every day with ongoing learning and personal development. These are among the many reasons I was drawn to becoming their first ever Exercise Physiologist.

A favourite quote of mine is “Life is a journey, it’s not where you end up but how you got there”. To me this resonates with the path of life not always being smooth sailing. The adversities we face will make us stronger and in the end you will be a better person for it.

I’d love to get the chance to work with you! Book an appointment today.
